Industrial Mechanical Contractors, Ltd. was incorporated in the State of Iowa in November of 1975. Operations were later located in Decatur,
IL until late 1984, at which time the company moved to its current location in Centralia, IL. under the leadership of Norman “Butch” Mayer.
In 1998, Norman Mayer and Craig Mayer assumed ownership of Industrial Mechanical Contractors, Ltd. In 2003, Craig Mayer and Brent Mayer purchased the contracting portion of Industrial Mechanical Contractors, Ltd. and formed Industrial Mechanical Contractors, LLC.
Industrial Mechanical Contractors has been pre-qualified to complete work for the State of Illinois since 1987.
